Celebrate

“Celebrate” is the annual Dunedin School of Art Otago Secondary Schools Art Awards, this initiative was developed  between the Dunedin School of Art and the Otago Art Teachers Association. The intention of these awards is to strengthen the links between the Otago high schools and Dunedin’s creative tertiary sector, encouraging our students to train locally in their creative fields. Now in its third year, this competition and exhibition have become a highly anticipated event on the annual Arts Calendar in Otago. In 2016 the Otago Polytechnic School of Design came on board with their own “Celebrate” Design Awards extending the opportunity to be involved to a wider cohort of talented students in creative disciplines.

The winning students from each of these “Celebrate” Awards is awarded a partial fees Scholarship to attend their respective institution.
